Banahatti, Bagalkote : ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂಬರುವ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷ 150ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜನತಾ ಪಕ್ಷ (ಬಿಜೆಪಿ) ನಾಯಕ ಬಿಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬನಹಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
“ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ ಅವರು ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮತದಾರರ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಾನು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ 50 ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕ, ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದ ಕೊರತೆಯಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ವಿದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲಿಶವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕಿಡಿಕಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ನೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂಬರುವ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಬೆಂಬಲ ಪ್ರಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸಚಿವ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್.ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಪಕ್ಷ ತೊರೆಯುವ ವದಂತಿಯನ್ನೂ ತಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಕಿರುವ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ, ‘ಸಚಿವ ಸೋಮಣ್ಣ ಪಕ್ಷ ತೊರೆದಿಲ್ಲ, ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತುಕತೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಆದಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
2019 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಜನತಾ ದಳ (ಜಾತ್ಯತೀತ) ಪಕ್ಷದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮ್ಮಿಶ್ರ ರಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಗೆದ್ದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮುಂಬರುವ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯು ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ಣಾಯಕ ಯುದ್ಧವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
BS Yeddyurappa predicts BJP victory in Karnataka assembly elections
Banahatti, Bagalkote : Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader BS Yeddyurappa has expressed confidence that his party will secure over 150 seats in the upcoming assembly elections in the state. Speaking at a public event in Banahatti in the Bagalkote district, Yeddyurappa highlighted the efforts of the BJP’s top leaders in campaigning across the state.
“The Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are touring the state to connect with the people and garner support for the party. I have also personally toured 50 constituencies to understand the concerns and aspirations of the voters,” Yeddyurappa said.
Taking a swipe at the Congress party, the BJP leader claimed that the opposition party lacks leadership and that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is “talking childishly abroad”. He further added that the BJP’s efforts to expand its base in Karnataka have been successful, and that party workers have been actively engaged in canvassing support for the upcoming elections.
Yeddyurappa also dismissed rumours of BJP Minister KS Eshwarappa’s departure from the party, stating that “Minister Somanna has not left the party, talks are going on about the list of BJP candidates and it will be announced as soon as possible.”
The BJP has been working hard to retain power in Karnataka, which it won in 2019 after forming a coalition with the Janata Dal (Secular) party. The upcoming assembly elections are seen as a crucial battle for the BJP, as it seeks to consolidate its position in the southern state.
