Bengaluru : ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಆಡಳಿತಾರೂ BJP ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಮುಂಬರುವ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ನಿಗದಿತ ಜಾತಿಗಳ (ಎಸ್‌ಸಿ) ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಂತರಿಕ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದೆ.
ವಿದಾನ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನೆಟ್ ಸಭೆಯ ನಂತರ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಗುಂಪುಗಳಾಗಿ ವರ್ಗೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಅಡಿಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಶೇ 5.5, ಮತ್ತು ಗುಂಪು 2 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ. ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ, ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಿಗೆ 2 ಬಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗ (ಇಡಬ್ಲ್ಯೂಎಸ್) ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇದು ವಿವಿಧ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದೆ.
Government Announces Internal Reservation for SC Community Ahead of Assembly Elections
Bengaluru : The ruling BJP government in the state has announced internal reservation for the Scheduled Castes (SC) community ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai disclosed the decision after a Cabinet meeting held at the Vidhan Sabha on Friday. He said the reservation would be classified into four groups according to the population.
The Adijambava community will receive 6 per cent reservation, 5.5 per cent for the Adikarnataka community in Group 2, and 4.5 per cent for Banjara, Bovi and Korachary in Group 3.
Additionally, the 2B reservation for Muslims has been canceled and will be replaced with a reservation under the economically backward class (EWS).
The government aims to attract two large communities during the election, as it continues to meet various reservation demands.
