Bengaluru : ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಪಿಡೋ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸುವಂತೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಅಲ್ಟಿಮೇಟಮ್ ನೀಡಿವೆ. ಸೋಮವಾರ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವ ಇಂಗಿತವನ್ನೂ ಆಟೊ ಚಾಲಕರು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಓಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಉಬರ್ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಲು ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಈ ಕ್ರಮವು ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರ ಆದಾಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ವ್ಯತಿರಿಕ್ತ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರಿದ್ದು, ರ್ಯಾಪಿಡೋ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಗಳ ಅನುಮತಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಆದರ್ಶ ಆಟೋ ಯೂನಿಯನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ನಡೆಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿದರು. ನಾಳೆಯಿಂದ ಆಟೋಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪು ಬಾವುಟ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯನ್ನು ತೀವ್ರಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿವೆ. ಸೋಮವಾರ ಆಟೋ ಸಂಚಾರ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ವೇಳೆ 2.10 ಲಕ್ಷ ಆಟೋಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರ ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಹೇಳಿವೆ. ರ್ಯಾಪಿಡೋ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯು ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರ ನಿರಂತರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ತಮ್ಮ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸುವವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯನ್ನು ತೀವ್ರಗೊಳಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Bengaluru Auto Drivers’ Organizations Give Two-Day Ultimatum to Ban Rapido Bike Taxis
Bengaluru : Bengaluru auto drivers’ organizations have issued a two-day ultimatum to the Karnataka Government to ban Rapido bike taxis in the city. The auto drivers have also announced their intention to lay siege to the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday.
The auto drivers’ protest comes in the wake of the Transport department’s decision to grant permission to Ola and Uber bike taxis. The move has adversely affected the income of auto drivers, leading them to demand the immediate withdrawal of permission for Rapido bike taxis.
Adarsh Auto Union President Manjunath addressed the press conference in Bengaluru, condemning the government’s decision to permit bike taxis. The auto drivers’ organizations have decided to intensify their protest by tying black flags on autos from tomorrow. They plan to completely stop auto services on Monday and besiege the Chief Minister’s residence to draw attention to their demands.
The auto drivers’ organizations have claimed that the movement of 2.10 lakh autos will be halted during their protest. The demand for a ban on Rapido bike taxis has been an ongoing issue for the auto drivers, and they are determined to escalate their protests until their demands are met.
