Vijayapura, Devanahalli : ವಿಜಯಪುರದ ಗುರಪ್ಪನಮಠದ ಓಂಕಾರೇಶ್ವರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಾಲಿ ರಥೋತ್ಸವ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಥೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಶಿವಸಪ್ತಾಹ, ಅಭಿಷೇಕ, ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ, ಗಿರಿಜಾ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣೋತ್ಸವ, ರುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಮಂಟಪೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ರಥೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿರಾದ ಪಟ್ಟನಾಯಕನಹಳ್ಳಿ (ಸ್ಫಟಿಕಪುರಿ) ಗುರುಗುಂಡ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮೇಶ್ವರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪೀಠಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಂಜಾವಧೂತ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೂ ಬೆಳೆಯುವಂತಾಗಬೇಕು. ಯುವಜನರು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ರಥೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳ ಜನರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಓಂಕಾರೇಶ್ವರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಎಸ್.ಬಚ್ಚೇಗೌಡ, ಪುರಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಸಿ.ನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಭೈರೇಗೌಡ, ರವಿ, ಎಂ.ವೀರಣ್ಣ, ವಿ.ಎಂ.ನಾಗರಾಜ್, ಎಂ.ನಾಗರಾಜ್, ಕೇಶವಪ್ಪ, ಆರ್.ಎಂ.ಸಿಟಿ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್, ಮಹೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ದೇವರಾಜ್ ಮುಂತಾದವರು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
Gurappana Math Celebrates Omkareswaraswamy Kallugali Rathotsava in Vijayapura
Vijayapura, Devanahalli : The Omkareswaraswamy Kallugali Rathotsava of Gurappana Math, Vijayapura, was celebrated with great pomp and show on Friday. The temple was abuzz with activity as devotees gathered to witness the various religious ceremonies that were performed on the occasion of Rathotsava.
The day began with the Shiva Saptah, Abhisheka, Flag Hoisting, Girija Kalyanotsava, Rudrakshi Mantapotsava, and other religious rituals that were performed in the temple. Nanjavadhuta Swamiji, the Presiding Officer of Gurgunda Brahmeswaraswamy Sansthan, Pattanayakanahalli (Sphatikapuri) in Shira initiated the Rathotsava. Speaking on the occasion, Swamiji stressed the importance of developing religious activities in rural areas and involving the youth in these activities.
The people of Vijayapur and surrounding villages came out in large numbers to participate in the chariot festival. The atmosphere was electric as the devotees pulled the chariot through the streets, chanting prayers and hymns in praise of Lord Shiva.
Several prominent members of the community were present at the event, including Omkareswaraswamy Okkaligara Trust Chairman S. Bachegowda, Municipal Council member C. Narayanaswamy, Bhairegowda, Ravi, M. Veeranna, V. M. Nagaraj, M. Nagaraj, Keshavappa, R. M. CT Manjunath, Mahesh Kumar, and Devaraj.
Overall, the Omkareswaraswamy Kallugali Rathotsava was a resounding success, with the community coming together to celebrate and honor Lord Shiva in a grand manner.
