Dharwad : ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 180 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು 18,000 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಡುವಿನ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಹೊಸ 300 ಎಕರೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಪಲ್ ಐಫೋನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯ ನಂತರ ಈ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಈ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ಸ್ (ಇಎಂಸಿ 2.0) ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ, ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಮೋದಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ, ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಗುರಿಯು 20,910 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಹೊಂದಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 1,500 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಹೂಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ವೇಗವರ್ಧಿಸುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ.
Karnataka to Get Rs 180Cr Electronics Manufacturing Cluster Ahead of Polls
Dharwad : The Indian government has approved the establishment of an Electronics Manufacturing Cluster in Karnataka’s Dharwad district, ahead of the state’s assembly elections.
The cluster is estimated to cost around Rs 180 crore and is expected to create over 18,000 jobs. The project will be established in partnership between the Central government and the Karnataka government.
This announcement comes after the recent announcement that Apple will be manufacturing iPhones in a new 300-acre factory in Karnataka that will employ one lakh people. The Electronics Manufacturing Cluster will be established under the Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC 2.0) Scheme, which was established in 2020 to develop a robust electronics manufacturing ecosystem in the country.
As of now, three Electronics Manufacturing Clusters have been approved under this scheme, with an investment target of Rs 20,910 crore. The project in Karnataka is expected to catalyze investments worth more than Rs 1,500 crore in the near future.
