New Delhi : Famous Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik passed away on Tuesday evening in Delhi. Kaushik was in the capital city to celebrate the festival of Holi with his friends, when he began to feel unwell. He was immediately taken to Fortis Hospital for medical assistance, but unfortunately, he could not be saved.
According to his close friend and fellow actor Anupam Kher, Kaushik had gone to meet friends at a farmhouse in Gurgaon, and on the way back, he suffered a heart attack in the car. Despite prompt medical attention, he could not be revived.
Kaushik’s untimely demise has sent shockwaves across the Indian film industry, with many celebrities expressing their grief and condolences. Prime minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah also expressed their sorrow and said that Kaushik’s contribution to Indian cinema would never be forgotten.
The actor’s body is currently kept at Deen Dayal Hospital in Delhi, where a post-mortem is scheduled to be conducted at around 11 AM. Following this, his mortal remains will be transported to Mumbai, where he had a long and illustrious career in the film industry.
Satish Kaushik was a renowned actor, producer, and director, known for his work in Hindi cinema. He appeared in several critically acclaimed films like “Mr. India”, “Ram Lakhan”, “Saajan Chale Sasural”, and “Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain”, among others. He was also a popular face on television, having appeared in numerous TV shows over the years. Kaushik will be remembered for his immense talent, warmth, and affability both on and off screen.
